    Basic Bible Teachings Class

Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (John 6:67-69, WEB).

Next Class: Sunday Mornings, 10:15 A.M. beginning June 5, 2005

Here at St. Paul's, we emphasize teaching. We stand firmly on God's Word and believe that His teachings are of infinite value. For that reason, we don't want anyone committing to membership without knowing exactly what we believe. That is the primary purpose of Basic Bible Teachings Class: to learn what we in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod believe about God, the Bible, and their relationship to us.

This class also serves as a refresher course for members, a review of what they learned in Confirmation Class. It's a great time to ask those questions that you've been wondering about, as well as an excellent chance to get to know other members and prospective members better.

The class is a 14 week course covering the basics of our faith. Once non-members have completed the course, they are welcome, with no obligation, to become communicant members and will be received as such. If you complete the course and say, "No, this isn't for me," you are under no obligations, but we will always be here for you to answer your questions and help you however we can.

We do not force our teachings on anyone, but we offer the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ as a free gift to all.If you would like more information, at any time. You may also call (563) 922-2364 or stop by.

If you would like to enroll in the next class, you can either call, sign up below, or just show up. If possible, please let us know you're interested so we can make sure to have enough books.
