Just as Tertius wrote on St. Paul's behalf, Tertius Publishing is the publishing arm of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Delaware, Iowa. These materials are produced and used in our congregation and provided for your use. Our goal is to provide materials that reflect our beliefs and teachings with a quality similar to that produced by larger publishing companies, but at a price that will enable congregations to spend less on curriculum and more on other areas of ministry, yet not sacrifice quality of presentation. All materials are available for download or shipped via CD ROM. See individual descriptions for details. If you would like printed copies of the books, we recommend you take the files to your local print and copy store.
Materials from Tertius Publishing may be freely reproduced for the use of one congregation and can be used by that congregation as much as desired. They may not, however, be shared with other congregations. Our prices are considerably lower than most publishers, and we ask that each congregation order their own copy. Special consideration may be given to LCMS Missions at our discretion.

Basic Computing Class 1 |
A 40 page pdf file, as well as the original Word (.doc) file so you can modify it to your needs. The file may be reproduced and given to students. This course introduces computers to those who are unfamiliar with or even afraid of computers. The class incorporates Christian teachings which are used as examples to teach computing concepts. It consists of six 90 minute lessons: hardware, operating systems, word processing, database & PIM's, spreadsheet, and introduction to the internet. Note that the class was written to be taught with Macintosh computers, but care was taken in the writing to be usable with Wintel computers as well, and the class discusses the differences when necessary. |
