Trip of a Lifetime Vacation Bible School
A five-day Lutheran VBS program (with closing service/program)
5 Days of fun and learning about Jesus, our Savior

Trip of a Lifetime is a 100% original, nothing like it on earth, VBS. It is developed right here by Tertius Publishing, complete with original music, artwork, crafts, snacks, and lessons. Parents will receive daily information tracts about what the children learned that day. The lessons are Biblical and distinctly Lutheran, yet approachable for visitors. We teach a 6-day creation, Baptismal regeneration, faith as a gift, and most of all, the vicarious atonement of Christ on the cross.
| Lesson Title | Bible Story | Main Idea | Memory Verse |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creation | Genesis 1-2 | Jesus loves us because He created us. | In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1, NIV). |
| Atonement | Genesis 22:1-13 | Jesus saved us by dying for us. | Abraham answered, God himself will provide the lamb (Genesis 22:8a, NIV). |
| Faith | Daniel 6:3-27 | Jesus saved us by giving us faith. | For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no-one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8, 9, NIV). |
| Baptism |
Matthew 3:13-17 | Jesus saved us by washing away our sin. | Peter replied, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38, NIV). |
| Salvation | Jonah 14 | Jesus saved everyone. | Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19, 20, NIV). |
