The New Creation (New Jerusalem) descends from God as a revelation of the joys of heaven. A walled city of gold and precious gems is set amid the clouds.
What’s Taking Place:
The apostle John is given a vision of the glory of heaven, the habitation of God’s elect. He sees a marvelous city crafted of the most precious elements of God’s creation and illuminated by His glory.
A golden crown is the symbol of election by God and elevation to the royal priesthood of the elect. It is a reminder that we who believe in Christ will reign with Him eternally.
